My argument for infant baptism in light of BOW:

Presuppositions:
-- Faith is required for salvation.
-- Mentally handicapped people and infants can be saved.
-- Faith and Baptism come as a "package" (Mark 16:16, etc.)

Argument:
If faith is required for salvation, and if people incapable of reasoned and conscious faith (such as mentally handicapped people or infants) are able to be saved, then saving faith must come to us from the outside (it must be imparted/given to us). In other words, we cannot generate saving faith ourselves (bondage of the will).
If infants can have saving faith, and baptism and faith come as a "package," then infants should be baptized.
Conversely, if baptism and faith come as a "package," then baptism indicates a person has been given saving faith.
